WASTED SUNSETS

No tear was shed

No heart was broken

we parted ways

we did.......so often

What was loved

and what was lost

I know not now

for it was the afterthought

What could have been

and what never was

we would never know

coz its all lost

No words spoken..

no egos wounded

a silent affair

reflections unhooded

The confines were in abandunce

Leading us astray,

The space increased with every falling raindrop

What with friends and strangers at bay.

Wasted sunsets

Never to return

Everlasting memories,

Linger to reform.

Alas! I bid farewell....

to the love that never was

and the love that could be....

but could never get across!
